If you love garlic, butter, and shrimp, then Shrimp Scampi is your dream dinner! This quick & easy dish is made with juicy shrimp, a rich garlic butter sauce, and a splash of lemon. Serve it over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up that delicious sauce!

For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Sauce:
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup chicken broth (or white cooking wine)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Cooked linguine or spaghetti, for serving
Instructions
1. Season & Sear the Shrimp
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink.
- Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
2. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth (or white cooking wine) and lemon juice. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
3. Bring It All Together
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss in the sauce for 1 minute.
- Stir in chopped parsley and Parmesan (if using).
4. Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
- Garnish with extra parsley, Parmesan, and lemon wedges!
Notes
✔ For extra richness, add 2 tbsp heavy cream to the sauce.
